Highly, Highly recommend Window Universe for window replacement! From a no-pressure quote to finished product, top notch service!
Had 11 original windows (1950’s) replaced. The crew came in and worked as an efficient, organized team to get the old windows out and the new ones in and finished out. The house was completely installed and closed up in one day with a second half day needed for finishing work. The windows look beautiful and the quality of work done was exceptional. The crew were so friendly and helpful (Lou, Calvin, Zach, Mike, Donovan). We love that Window Universe uses their own crew and does not subcontract out.
The crew also cleaned up so nicely, inside and out. There was minimal dust inside after install and they cleaned/vacuumed up all debris, along with disposing of all the old window parts and pieces.

Window Universe was the best. I researched 10 companies, both the quality of the windows and the installation. I bought the upgraded Okna 800 series windows. Sales rep was non pressure, in fact I had to insist on the upgrade, inspecting the demo model for sems, ease of opening, etc. The sale was unusual in that they had everything they sold with pricing already printed. The only discount was for paying cash. The still beat all other pricing on same quality windows, 2 for 1 specials, senior discounts, retired teacher discounts, veterans discounts, etc that the competitors offered. I could only meet their price by buying a much lower quality window.
Installation was outstanding!!! I had 3 installers for 80% of the job. Lou (team leader) and Steve were extremely experienced, and Donovan was in their training program for over a year. You would never know it from the exquisitely detailed finishing he did, both inside and out. The demo and removal of my original 1954 wood windows was efficient, without any glass debris at all. The 4 x 4 picture window cracked, as it was in a very flimsy aluminum track (storm window). Not one piece escaped from that frame!!! Surprisingly, all my window openings were horizontally level. Lou knew to shim the windows as needed to center the window frames. All frames were insulated with foam, also ensuring a solid window and wall integration. The garage window was broken, unfinished interior, rotting frame. Not only was the window installed as all the others, new interior trim was cut and installed under Lou's direction. Steve typically was on his own, removing and installing windows. Donovan was technically very skilled in applying caulk. It was so perfectly applied, that it blended in to the edge and disappeared to the eye. All installers were skilled at creating the precise exterior trim. Then it was precisely finished with caulk. When there was about an hour or so left in the first day, Mike and Calvin joined the 3, to make sure every window was installed properly, and the whole front and one side of my home was completely finished. The second day, Donovan and Mike came to finish the windows in the back and other side. The synergy of everyone was unbelievable!!! The work was shared, helping each other was a priority, they were a jolly group, you could tell they loved their job, liked their crewmates and worked together like Amish neighbors building a barn. I never knew when they took their lunch break; they brought their own food, sat around the truck, and may have even staggered the timing, I just happened to catch somebody with a sandwich. I have hired many service people, and these men are the top of all service providers. (I rehabbed this house)
Overall, I am so pleased with the quality of product and installation, I will be hiring them again next year for exterior doors and 4 sliders that were not in my budget for this year. Something else to consider is that everybody gives a lifetime warranty on their windows. The competitors either offer NO warranty (you pay 100%) or a fee for the removal/installation of that free window. Window Universe has NO fee to replace warranted windows. And the use their highly trained crew to do the replacement!
Hands down, this little gem of a business in Lakewood is a shining star if you need windows.

Excellent professional replacement window company. Great experience with no pressure sales in the beginning to the actual installation! We recently had to replace our windows due to one of the 15 year old builder grade Simonton custom windows cracking end to end during one of the coldest nights over winter. After performing a lot of online research and having Home Depot come out to quote new Simonton windows, we determined that we were indeed due to replace all of them throughout the house due to various issues from sealing and not shutting properly to latch, to cracking and weathered internal seals and hardware, to notable drafts around almost all of them. After going through more online reviews, I determined that based on reputation and quality as well as air sealing and efficiency, the Okna Windows and installation offered by Window Universe was worth exploring. We had Lance out to the house to provide a written estimate. He reviewed everything and with absolutely no sales pressure he happily answered every question that we had. It was a pleasure working with. We had him quote a new patio door from Okna as well. He was also able to quote external keystoned trim replacement using Azek board. It matched the original look while swapping old plywood trim with new pvc. The price was very close to what we had received from Home Depot, but we were getting quite a bit more for the money along with the confidence of their own W2 employees doing the installation.

During the install Donovan, Drew, Calvin and Mike spent 3 days replacing 25 windows, 2 custom paladins and a sliding glass door. They also installed that new trim. Everything was weatherproofed, insulated, trimmed properly and verified. They cleaned up as they went leaving little disturbance to their surroundings. They were energetic, friendly, courteous and above all respectful. This was honestly one of the best installations we have ever experienced. We enjoyed their company and appreciate their hard work and dedication.

First here is the crew Donovan K Drew H. Calvin w. And Calvin A. This is the crew that installed my new windows. My criteria for new windows were energy efficient,good looking,affordable,and this is the big the installers. Had to be there employees. Window Universe met all of this criteria. I did the house in 2 phases as this is an expensive project. I had already had the front of the house done last year and they did an excellent job. Now it was time for the rest of the house. We were going to make a big change here. We were putting in case ment windows. So Chad the salesman came in and said we don’t make a casement that large. But we can do it if we put a picture window above it. So that is how he figured the price. Plus we wanted to update house by using prairie grid. The crew did an excellent job with the install very professional just did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anybody. There is no high pressure to buy the windows. They give you a quote and than leave for you to decide. Great company. They clean up everything wash the windows. Just excellent.

We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this company! From the in-home estimate, to the team that came to measure the replacement door and new storm door, to the prompt notifications letting us know that weather conditions were inappropriate for door installation, culminating with the day of installation. The 3-person crew was on time, polite, and friendly. I was also impressed as I overheard the more experienced installers giving detailed, but patient instruction to the newer installer. They were professional and clearly take pride in their work, each other, and their company. I would not hesitate to hire them again for our next door or window installation.

Did the research and WU came back highly rated, as did Okna windows. Got over a dozen windows 2 years ago and have been very pleased with the quality of the product and the installation. Needed one for a bathroom project and a front door. Adam ( from prior job) & Lou came out. Friendly and very professional. Answered any questions and explained process as they went. WU is not a chain. These guys are not sub contractor/installers. Fiberglass wood look door is beautiful.

Great experience from initial meeting with Sales to final installation. We had whole house window replacement that included a large bow window plus a garage entry door replaced. Awesome experience start to finish! Clear communication, detailed quote, competitive pricing and communication weekly once materials were ordered. We had a front door, large second story window, three panel sliding door, and 17 other windows replaced. The team that did the install was polite, punctual and extremely hard working. After four days, they never left a mess, made sure we knew how to work everything and were an overall pleasure. We could hardly tell they had been there after they left. Fantastic! Have a condo with old custom not efficient aluminum frames. To replace these sliding doors and windows the condo association is specific to color and trim inside and out. A friend had hired them and suggested I call them. The process took 8 weeks but was very smooth, accepted my credit card without any additional fees like it should be. They didn't ask for final payment until they were completed and finished. Went over the windows how to clean etc. They also said anything happens with anything, just call us for the life of the window. What more can you ask for? Great job men!

If you're looking for new windows or a patio door, look no further. Windows Universe took all the uncertainty out of buying new windows. After getting estimates from two other well known window dealers in the area, it was very refreshing to have Windows Universe come to our home and give us a very straight forward, fair and honest estimate for our windows and patio door. Their approach to window sales is different from all the rest. They addressed my concerns, discussed options leaving me well informed and completed our visit in 45 minutes with a ”Thank you for your time” and “give us a call if you’re interested.” None of the “other guys” high pressure tactics and games. No “tonight only” deals or a starting on Mars price to eventually bring it down to Earth. One of my other estimates lasted nearly 4 hours!
A real, no hassle lifetime warranty is all part of the deal. They walk the walk as proven to me when they replaced our new patio door with another because of a few issues that I was dissatisfied with. They could have just as easily said “live with it” and went on their way.
Everyone I dealt with at Windows Universe - from the owner, in-home sales, office staff and installers were all courteous and professional at all times.

Everything about Windows Universe was great from the quoting process, measure, manufacturing to installation. First started with my awesome Sales Rep Lance who understood my needs and provided a straight forward quote. I stopped by the showroom to see the windows in person and Lance greeted me gave me a walk through and I made the purchase on the spot. The price was very competitive in comparison to the competitor with the name in reverse :). After purchase Dustin came out for some official final measurements and I received weekly emails on the status of my windows and patio doors. About 8 weeks later I got the call your windows are in and installation was scheduled for the following week. The installation team arrived on time and were very professional and all worked well and treated my home like it was their own home.
